EL lamps are commonly used for membrane switch backlighting, lighting displays and advertisements.  They are favorably priced compared to fiber optics and offer additional design flexibility.  An EL lamp half life varies between 3000-5000 hours depending upon the quality of phosphor used.

Our EL lamps are tested and approved for use on boats, medical equipment, robotic controls, and aviation control panels.
